Pastors & Elders
God has provided our church with pastors and elders as a gift to lead, guide, teach, and protect the church. Below are the men who we have affirmed as pastors and elders according to the Biblical qualifications for this role.
Duane Watt
Lead Pastor/Elder
Pastor Duane trusted Christ in
Duane serves as Lead Pastor/Elder of Liberty Baptist Church. He and his wife Lori, have been married since 1984. They have five children and ten grandchildren. Their children
Nathan Gray
Student & Children’s Pastor
Pastor Nathan grew up in Lynchburg, VA in a strong Christian home and trusted Christ as Savior at an early age. He graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute in August, 2016. He completed his undergraduate from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Religion: Biblical and Theological Studies. Pastor Nathan oversees the Student and Children’s Ministries. He is passionate about teaching the Word of God and leading people to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Nathan and his wife Gillian have been married since 2018. Aside from spending time with his wife, he enjoys a good read, great music, being a connoisseur of fine coffee, playing sports, and spending time with others.
Don Moody
Elder
Don is a native Floridian that accepted Christ at the age of 11. He is a graduate of Tennessee Temple College and Bible School and graduated in 1962 with a Theology degree. Don began a long-running career leading and directing Rescue Missions beginning in West Virginia, to Jacksonville, FL and eventually as Executive Director of the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. He served in that role for 32 years before retiring. After the death of his wife Patricia (married for 52 years!), he married his wife Loretta who serves as one of our church pianists. After retirement from the Rescue Mission, Don served at First Baptist Orlando for 6 years as a Minister on Call. Don has two daughters who live in the Clermont area.

Kevin Paszalek
Elder
Kevin is a native Texan and has the cowboy boots to prove it, but he loves living in Florida. He holds a BS in Christian Education from Dallas Bible College and a MA from Moody Bible Institute. He pastored in the US for 27 years before moving to Kenya to serve in a Bible college for 13 years as Senior Lecturer and VP for Administration. At the same time, Kevin served as associate pastor in the local church under a Kenyan pastor. His primary responsibility was working with and developing (along with Linda) the worship team in the English service.
His wife Linda has served faithfully alongside him in all these roles, often carrying a heavy workload for the sake of the ministry. They have been married since 1976 and have five children and eight grandchildren. Kevin enjoys learning Swift programming, reading, politics, and bike riding while listening to audiobooks.
Dennis Loung
Elder
Dennis grew up in a home honoring Christlike values that included respect and love for his neighbors. After accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his life, he has diligently studied the Word of God because rightfully dividing the Word of Truth is vital to his conviction and belief. He actively participated in home bible study group, that has enabled him to grow in the knowledge of theWord, improve his fellowship with Christians and share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dennis and his wife Ursula are blessed with three children, and ten grandchildren. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and running.
Deacons
Deacons are the servants who meet the practical and day-to-day needs of the church body. They are also established to directly care for and serve the people within our church. Below are the men we have affirmed as deacons according to the Biblical qualifications for this role.
